01

Voluntary donations

Donations are voluntary contributions supporting Uditi Foundation’s charitable activities. Unless a purpose is expressly confirmed at checkout, the Foundation may apply a donation to the area of greatest need consistent with its charitable objects.

02

Eligibility and donor details

Donors must be legally capable of making the contribution and must provide accurate name, email, telephone, address, tax-identification and payment information where requested. Do not make a payment using an account or instrument you are not authorised to use.

03

Payment processing

Online payments may be processed by Razorpay or another provider displayed at checkout. A donation is treated as received only after successful payment confirmation and reconciliation. Failed, pending or reversed transactions do not constitute completed donations.

04

Acknowledgements and receipts

After a verified payment, an electronic acknowledgement will be sent to the email address supplied by the donor. Please review it promptly and contact us if details are incorrect. Delivery may be delayed by email filtering or temporary service issues.

05

Tax documentation

Tax benefit is available only where the donation and donor satisfy applicable law and the Foundation holds the relevant approval. A payment acknowledgement is not by itself a guarantee of deduction. Where legally applicable, statutory donor reporting and certificates such as Form 10BE are handled separately using the details provided by the donor.

06

Refunds and mistaken payments

Donations are ordinarily final because funds may be committed to charitable work. We will review verified duplicate payments, processing errors, unauthorised transactions and other exceptional cases in accordance with law and payment-provider rules. Contact us promptly with the transaction reference and reason. Approval and timing are case-specific, and payment charges may be non-refundable where permitted.

07

Cancellation and chargebacks

A completed one-time donation cannot be cancelled through the website. For recurring giving, if introduced, future instalments may be stopped according to the mandate terms. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate; this does not limit statutory rights.

08

Foreign contributions

Do not make a foreign contribution unless the checkout expressly confirms that the Foundation is authorised and configured to accept it under applicable Indian law. We may reject or reverse a payment that cannot lawfully be accepted.

09

Fraud and compliance

We may request additional information, place a transaction on hold, decline it, or cooperate with banks and authorities where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, sanctions screening, anti-money-laundering checks or legal compliance.

10

Contact

For a receipt correction, duplicate-payment review or donation query, contact Uditi Foundation using the postal address or telephone number below and include the payment date, amount and transaction reference. Do not send card, UPI PIN or online-banking credentials.
